What was that favorite thing you made for dinner?

Good. I'm very, very glad to hear that.

It was nothing particularly special. I grilled a mackerel fish, steamed some vegetables and rice, and added a sauce. It takes a bit of work, so I don't do it often, even if it is simple.

What's your favorite kind of food?

That sounds amazing. I'd love to try it sometime.

Honestly? I love food from the Water Tribe. I grew up with it, and I didn't think I'd miss it so much. My favorite is seaweed noodles.

Seaweed noodles? Describe them for me. My culture uses seaweed a lot, so maybe we have something similar that I could prepare for you.

I'm not really a good cook, but I think they're noodles made out of seaweed? In this really nice broth.

Maybe Mako knows how to make them.

I will ask Mako about it, so I can at least try. But don't hold it against me if it isn't perfect.

This is starting to sound like an opportunity for us to go on a picnic or something before it gets too cold.

I like that idea. Then Naga could come too. She has a lot of energy after October.

Naga will be fine with her, I think, as long as she doesn't scare her.

Iris is mostly tamed now. Her situation was a little complicated. But she's a good girl. Her only real problems come when people get aggressive with her. Especially people. She had a rough upbringing I think.

I won't do that. I raised Naga, I know how to be around dog-type-creatures.

You could always bring cheese and crackers? That doesn't require cooking at all, and it's a good appetizer.
